AS Trencin of Slovakia have announced the capture of Nigerian teenage attacker Ahmad Ghali from local side Mahanaim FC of Abuja.
The club made the announcement via their TV platform, AS TV, where the 19-year-old Ghali spoke about his aspirations at his new club.
“I am very happy to be here, I am happy with the way the club received me. I want to thank my agency that brought me here to sign for Trencin, I know the team have great players and I am ready to give my best both inside and outside the pitch.
“I know my predecessors and compatriots who have played for AS Trencin like Samuel Kalu and Moses Simon, so I am going to try my best to maybe reach a great level to what they achieved.”
The deal is reportedly a year-long one and Ghali will be officially presented to the supporters of the club in their next home game.
The former MFM player played a pivotal role for the Nigeria U-20 side at the African Games in Morocco, where the West Africans finished in second place last August.
