35 years old ex-Arsenal and Togolese forward Emmanuel Adebayor has put pen to paper for Turkish league outfit Kayserispor. The lanky striker who has played for so many teams across the world including Spanish giants Real Madrid, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Crystal Palace and a host of other teams totaling about 9, says he’s delighted to have made the move.
Kayserispor has won the Turkish Cup once in 2008 and were joint winners of the Intertoto Cup in 2006 and the club hopes Adebayor will help them add some honors to their modest records.
The ex- gunner joined the Superliga side after spending 3 seasons with Istanbul Basaksehier, where he scored 28 goals in 76 appearances.
Emmanuel Adebayor was a free agent having left Istanbul Basaksehir this summer after three years.
The striker has now moved to KayseriSpor, who finished in 10th place on the Turkish Superliga table last season.
