Swiss club FC Lugano have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper and free agent Sebastian Osigwe on a three-year deal.
Osigwe, who was without a club following the expiration of his contract with Swiss Challenge League SC Kriens, joins the three-time champions of Switzerland until July 2023.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper combined his football career with an apprenticeship at a motor garage. He is eligible for Nigeria through his father, who himself played for Nigeria at youth level, and has stated his desire to play for the Super Eagles, describing it as “a childhood dream”.
He is, however, yet to receive a call-up from Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr.
Last season, Osigwe made 20 appearances in the second tier of Swiss football, keeping eight clean sheets but conceding an average of 1.5 goals per game.
Osigwe favours an aggressive style of goalkeeping, but has admitted his lack of patience is both a strength and a weakness.
