French side, FC Nantes have completed the signing of Nigerian forward Moses Simon from Levante on a season-long loan, with an option of a permanent transfer at the end of the season.
Simon featured for Levante last season, scoring one goal in 19 appearances for the modest La Liga side. He is Les Canaris’ tenth arrival of this summer.
“FC Nantes and Levante have reached the agreement for the loan, with an option to purchase, of the Nigerian International Moses Simon (24 years old, winger). Welcome Moses,” the club statement read.
The 24-year old featured for Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, playing a pivotal role as the Super Eagles reached the semi-finals.
Simon is expected to make his debut for Nantes when they face Marseille on Saturday after their opening day Ligue 1 loss to Osimhen’s Lille 2-1 last weekend.
