Super Falcons captain Asisat Oshoala continued her sizzling form in front of goal with a brace for Barcelona Femeni in the 4-0 drubbing of Madrid CFF in the Spanish Primera Iberdrola on Saturday.
The Nigeria international opened scoring two minutes before the break to hand the league leaders a half-time lead at the Nuevo Matapinonera Stadium.
Just two minutes after the restart, the 25-year-old completed her second double of the season after she was set up by Caroline Hansen.
Hansen then completed a hat-trick of assists in the 73rd minute when she set up Jenni Hermoso for Barcelona’s third, before substitute Aitana Bonmati completed the victory two minutes from time.
Table topping Barcelona have now extended their winning streak to seven matches in all competitions and are yet to taste defeat this season.
Oshoala has now scored seven league goals this season, one shy of teammate Hermoso in the division’s scorers’ chart.
