Super Eagles forward, Samuel Kalu, has tested positive for the Coronavirus and is the second Nigerian international team player to contract the disease after Genk striker, Paul Ebere Onuachu.
The Bordeaux man has been in quarantine since returning to France from Nigeria two weeks ago.
It was reported that the club announced the positive result of one player to the virus on July 6th and it was recently revealed that Kalu was the player who contracted COVID-19.
The speedster has missed the team’s training sessions and exhibition games since the return to pre-season training.
Kalu, according to reports, is expected to rejoin the rest of the squad on July 27 if his test returned negative.
