The Super Eagles of Nigeria are poised to play two friendly games in September, depending on the situation with the coronavirus pandemic.
President of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick disclosed this in an Instagram live session on Thursday July 16.
“We have two international friendly games billed for Paris in September and when we conclude the arrangements, which are at 70 per cent now, we will make it public,” Pinnick said.
He said that the Federation is targeting friendly games against one African team and another team from South America in the first international window post-COVID19.
Pinnick also revealed there are plans by the NFF to aid football clubs and the local leagues in the aftermath of the coronavirus outbreak.
